Tips To Help Avoid Being Scammed.
Scams involving making money on the internet have been wide spread over the last 5 years or more. Everywhere you search, there are countless websites and threads (on forums) trying to sell their product to you.
How do you know if a product is legit?
If you’re going to purchase directly from a website, make sure you do some research before you buy. Try going to Google (or your favorite search engine) and typing ‘the program name review’…obviously replacing ‘the program name’ with the program you are interested in. Now from the search results go through the webpages and see what others have to say. Be careful doing this! You will find a lot of reviews that have an affiliate link for the product in question….AVOID these reviews! Try to find an honest review that doesn’t link back to the site in question.
If you’re going to purchase a ebook or program from a forum, such as Digital Point, you should still do a little research. Go through the entire thread (even if it’s 20 pages) and read every post. A lot of times the person looking to sell the ebook or product will offer review copies at a discounted rate in exchange for a review in their thread. If you can’t find any reviews, try searching the forum to see if this person has tried to sell this product before. Chances are that if the product didn’t get good reviews in the original thread the person would probably open another thread and try to sell the product again. If you can’t find any useful information on the product, it’s probably best not to purchase it at that time.
Hopefully this will help you the next time you are interested in an ebook or online product. If you know of any scams that should be reported, post them here in the comments section so everyone can see.
